About the company

Our client is a well-known card company in Hong Kong. Due to their recent expansion, they are now looking for a Dept Head for their Card Product and Operations position.

About the role

Reporting to the Deputy CE, you will lead a sizable team in planning and managing all-rounded lifecycle of card business, from card features development, card procurement, stock management, channel distribution, application process, regulations updates to service center management. You have to develop card product strategy effectively to address customer needs and adapts to market, technological and regulatory changes. You are requested to participate in service review meetings with internal and external stakeholders to identify areas for improvement as well as monitoring vendor performance to safeguard service quality. You are responsible for managing key performance indicators, budget and business forecast to ensure company targets are achieved. In addition, you will lead and in-charge of innovative and digital projects on card development to achieve business goals for the card company.

The successful applicant

To qualify, the successful individual must possess:

• Degree holder in Business or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience of minimum 13-16 years in card product development with at least 5-8 years in a managerial capacity.
• Extensive expertise in card operations management in retail banks or credit card companies required.
• In-depth understanding of card related compliance standards and regulations is a must.
• Proven ability to elevate key performance metrics, including customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness and vendor management.
• Sound in leading innovative project with good knowledge in card digital development trend.
• Strong business sense, good analytical mind and excellent people management skills.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
