The Department of Digital Arts and Creative Industries (DACI) is an interdisciplinary and innovative learning hub that encompasses a wide range of areas, including film and television, animation, museums and curating, art history, as well as digital arts and immersive media. We offer broad theoretical study and practical training for students seeking careers in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area's burgeoning creative and cultural industries. DACI currently offers three Undergraduate programmes, BA (Hons) Aminations and Digital Arts, BA (Hons) in Creative Media Industries and BA (Hons) in Film and Visual Arts, and two taught master programmes, MA in Creative and Media Industries (MACMI) and MA in Curating and Art History (MACAH). Responsibilities

The appointee will be required to:

  • assist the Programme Director in planning, promoting and coordinating the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Animation and Digital Arts programme
  • provide administrative and secretarial support to student recruitment and admissions, and overall development of the undergraduate programme; handling student matters
  • liaise with other departments and internal/external units
  • organise events / activities
  • any other duties as assigned by supervisors


Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • a Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of solid experience in tertiary education sector or related field; preferably in academic programme management;
  • good command of both Chinese and English;
  • strong report writing ability and analytical skill;
  • high level of competence in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and webpage applications;
  • good communication and interpersonal skills; and
  • ability to work independently, effectively and efficiently, be well organized and a good team player


Salary and Benefits
The rank and commencing salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity.
