Our client, a Hong Kong-based hospitality brand, is rapidly expanding across major cities worldwide, and we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Internal Audit (Construction & Development) in supporting the team-lead in leading the construction and development project audits within the hotel group.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading and supervising internal construction and development project audits.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, project risk assessments, and management.
• Monitor project progress and costs, including vendor and contractor prequalification.
• Oversee procurement, tendering, design approvals, and variation approvals processes.
• Manage project handovers, pre-opening reviews, and post-mortem assessments.
• Conduct quantity survey analysis to ensure compliance with contract requirements, and thorough follow-up of corrective action plans on previously identified issues.
• Plan and execute audit assignments to evaluate the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls, and governance systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, quantity surveying. 
• Chartered Professional of Quantity Surveyor (QS) with MRICS or HKIS is plus.
• Prior audit knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 are advantages.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction or property development audit, preferably with global organizations or professional services firms. 
• At least 2 years of managerial experience.
