The Bullion Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of bullion handling, storage, and transportation. This role ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, maintains relationships with client and vendors. The Bullion Operations Manager will also work with teams within Global Markets, Bank-wide Operations, Finance and Compliance departments to ensure the secure and efficient handling of precious metals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of bullion
• Coordinate with Bullion Trading team, Vault Management team and transportation service providers for the secure storage and transfer of bullion
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate records and reconciliation of inventory
• Preparation of itemized invoices
• Perform KYC and AML reviews for bullion customers
• Build and maintain relationships with potential clients to understand their precious metal business needs
• Dealing and responding to internal and external customers’ queries
• All other bullion related businesses
   

Experience required:

• At least 5 years in bullion operations/logistics experience
• Familiar with risk and compliance management practices in the precious metal industry
• Knowledge of precious metals, investment markets and financial products
• Customer service experience
   

Skills required:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and being team player
• Self-motivated and result driven
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English
• Positive “Can-do” attitude is essential
