Keys Skills/Experience: 

• Certs such as ECF on Operational Risk Management (AORP) and/or

      Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) are highly preferred

• 7 years/+ of risk mgmt exp within banks, FIs, Big-4 (focus in Banking) consulting firms, or financial regulators.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in overseeing the bank’s risk management and control functions.
• Lead and coordinate the implementation of operational risk, operational resilience, business continuity planning, new product approvals, and climate risk management frameworks, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with risk owners and second-line defense units to address and manage relevant risks effectively.
• Evaluate and provide recommendations on controls, workflows, policies, and procedures developed by risk owners for Management’s review.
• Prepare risk-related reports for Management and contribute to ad-hoc risk management projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as ECF on Operational Risk Management (AORP) and/or Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) are highly preferred.
• 7 years/+ of risk management experience within banks, financial institutions, Big-4 consulting firms, or financial regulators.
• Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills in both English and Chinese.
• Solid understanding of banking operations and local regulatory requirements, including HKMA SPM OR-1, OR-2, RR-1, and SR-1.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related applications.
