Senior IT Manager (Retail experience needed)

MISSION STATEMENT

As the Senior IT Manager, this role is committed to driving innovation and operational excellence within the technology landscape. The IT team will be led in implementing strategic initiatives that enhance system performance, ensure data security, and support the organization's goals. The mission is to foster a collaborative environment that empowers staff, optimizes resources, and leverages technology to deliver exceptional value to clients and stakeholders.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

  • design and implementation of software interfaces
  • management of the connection of existing stores on the new system
  • design and implementation of additional reports and queries
  • data cleansing and data migration (design, implement, run)
  • Post go live support and enhancement
  • In coordination with the Group, define and implement an IT security policy
  • Ensure company data and information is well protected from IT perspective
  • Data privacy regulation enforcement
  • Running regular checks on network and data security
  • Develop long term strategy for the Brand
  • Develop, propose and budget an annual plan regarding the evolution of systems and infrastructure (project, updates, upgrades, migrations)
  • Identify IT opportunities for value creation
  • Manage vendors and quotations
  • Creating and updating IT policies and procedures based on industry best practices
  • Managing IT budgets and expenditures to ensure that projects are completed within time and budget constraints
  • Develop and implement a ticketing system and process users' request with the support of the Group
  • Provide staff training for IT related topics when needed
  • Analyse tickets, identify problems and provide solution
  • Reviewing reports from the system regularly to ensure that they are functioning properly
  • Providing technical support to end users regarding the use of computer applications or hardware products
  • Collaborate with Central IT (participation in workgroups, replying to queries)
  • Leverage the Group power and experience for solutions identification, purchasing, benchmark

QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree or above, major in Information System / Computer Science
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in sizable company, experience in retail industry is highly preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in MS Dynamics F&O (AX)
  • Sound knowledge in IT Infrastructure; with strong Project Management experience
  • In depth knowledge of technologies covering the IT, MIS, corporate network, system infrastructure technologies and information security.
  • Proven communication and personal skills with all levels of internal/external, technical/non-technical customers/users
