Quantity Surveyor/ PQS / SQS

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and reviewing subcontract agreements, preparing cost estimates, and managing claims from subcontractors. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and reviewing subcontract agreements to ensure alignment with main contract terms.
  • Preparing cost estimates for subcontracted work.
  • Inviting and evaluating tenders from potential subcontractors.
  • Assessing and certifying the value of work completed by subcontractors for interim and final payments.
  • Evaluating and pricing variations or changes to the subcontracted work.
  • Managing claims from subcontractors for additional time or money.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all subcontracted work, payments, and correspondence.
  • Reviewing and agreeing on the final account with subcontractors.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or above in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in E&M contractor side.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Candidates with more experience will be considered as Project Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Day-to-day:

  • Collaborating with project teams and subcontractors.
  • Conducting site visits and inspections.
  • Communicating with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
