A professional association is urgently seeking high caliber candidates for the post of Director - Communications and Public Affairs.

Responsibilities:

• To lead a team to manage and direct all communications between the organization and the public 
• Report directly to top management and advise from time to time on public relations and media issues
• To create communications and public relations strategies and serve as the key media contact and coordinator 
• To coordinate publicity campaigns and enhancing the corporate image and positioning 
• To be responsible for event, brand management, and issue management
• To develop and produce corporate materials
• To prepare messages, speeches or articles for top management
• To handle media relations including dealing with media inquiries 
• To draft press releases, briefing materials 
• To prepare articles for publication in the official journal

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Communication or related disciplines
• Extensive corporate communication, public relation and media relations experience preferably in public utility or professional service firm 
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
