RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyzes market trend and initiate ideas for new product development
Conducts new ingredient and food product research
Ensures all materials and products comply with company and regulatory requirements and conduct improvements reviews
Improves product quality or cost by modifying formulation of current products
Performs physical and chemical analyses on ingredients and/or food products
Develops product and process specifications for food products
REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Food Science or related subject
Preferred to have at least 1 year working experience on R&D
Functional knowledge – Strong food science and processing fundamentals
Problem Solving – Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
Self-motivation; delivers results on target; helps team to succeed
Communication – Listens and follows direction. Writes clearly and informatively
