System Analysts - General Insurance (Ref: SAGI/HL)
Our client is a leading insurance company, and they are looking for a System Analyst to assist their Development team on daily operation and system development.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the end-to-end SDLC for new projects
Analyze user requests for enhancements in the core insurance system and implement program changes to meet the user needs
Troubleshoot production issues and debug programs to identify root causes
Develop and customize application programs, and other applications connecting to the core system
Understand the business needs and objectives, and propose feasible system solutions to internal parties
Maintain good relationships with stakeholders, internal and external parties
Requirements :
Degree holder with at least 8 - 10 years of experience in system or application development, preferably from the General Insurance industry
Strong knowledge in COBOL, CSC SMART/400 and AS/400
Proven experience on program development, production deployment and problem troubleshooting in CSC Polisy/Asia insurance system
Familiar with information and application security
Good interpersonal skills, problem solving skills and a team player
Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese
