Our client is a leading insurance company, and they are looking for a System Analyst to assist their Development team on daily operation and system development.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end SDLC for new projects
• Analyze user requests for enhancements in the core insurance system and implement program changes to meet the user needs 
• Troubleshoot production issues and debug programs to identify root causes
• Develop and customize application programs, and other applications connecting to the core system
• Understand the business needs and objectives, and propose feasible system solutions to internal parties
• Maintain good relationships with stakeholders, internal and external parties

Requirements :

• Degree holder with at least 8 - 10 years of experience in system or application development, preferably from the General Insurance industry 
• Strong knowledge in COBOL, CSC SMART/400 and AS/400
• Proven experience on program development, production deployment and problem troubleshooting in CSC Polisy/Asia insurance system
• Familiar with information and application security
• Good interpersonal skills, problem solving skills and a team player
• Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese
