Our client, a Hong Kong financial regulator, is looking for an Associate or AVP level Business Analyst (both technical and business), as they are looking to build out an international custodian/depository service. As such, this business analyst must have knowledge of Asian and Hong Kong cash equity settlement and custody functions, and have experience in runing technology projects.
Description
- Analyze and understand business needs while gathering user requirements.
- Engage in discussions regarding functional, technical, and design aspects with stakeholders to ensure best practices during implementation.
- Conduct feasibility studies and propose suitable solutions.
- Convert requirements into functional specifications.
- Collaborate with IT teams to transition solutions from the development environment to production.
- Evaluate, train, and enhance machine learning models and algorithms.
- Continuously optimize the performance of machine learning models.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, analytics and machine learning model development or risk scorecard development
- Proficiency in Python data science packages, such as TensorFlow, and experience serving ML models as APIs like MLflow and Ray Serve.
- Familiarity with model development and deployment, ETL processes, and data visualisation.
- Strong data-driven thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the capability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Fraud Risk Knowledge is a plus
