Job Responsibilities

 

Planning 

  • Develop production plan, identify production constraints, validate supplier capacity plan and work proactively to execute prebuild or explore reallocation possibility to mitigate delay; 
  • Drive launch decisions and work closely with product development team regarding executability, launch readiness and MOQ issues, to ensure efficient and accurate order launch to suppliers; 
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain team to secure adequate supply while minimizing excess inventory and stockouts; 
  • Drive new processes, review and analyse performances in terms of efficiency and effectiveness in view of various challenges (i.e. material prebooking, order placement timelines and operational KPI’s including capacity, leading time, etc); 
  • Support on the replenishment processes (Never Out of Stock Program Strategies) and work with strategic suppliers on raw material prebooking and shortening order-to-delivery lead time. 

 

Production 

  • Lead the production team in HK and South East Asia countries for monitoring critical path including delivery of trims and fabric to supplier for on-time delivery of finished goods to designated customers / markets; 
  • Manage weekly production risk assessment and work on corrective action plan with suppliers; 
  • Coordinate with suppliers for production details and monitor the production progress to ensure on-time delivery; 
  • Diagnose production problem and work with factory to present alternatives with technical advice to manager;
  • Work with Global Allocation Team for any re-allocation of orders. 

 

Logistics

  • Monitor the logistics operations and supply chain performance (upstream) from vendors to warehouse; 
  • Define KPI to follow & improve 3PL performance; 
  • Prepare and keep track on logistics budget; align the APAC supply chain cost structure (transportation, warehousing, customs duty) and adopt cost saving measures; 
  • Engage the different corporate, regional and local stakeholders to put corrective actions to improve performance; 
  • Support projects to align all the APAC market under standardized and harmonious process to allow simplification. 

 

Job Requirements

  • Relevant Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Logistics, Supply Chain or related discipline.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in buying office, 3PL or related industry. 
  • Good leadership, team management and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
  • Well-versed in MS Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.  
  • Occasional travel on needed basis
