Responsibilities:

• Lead team and be accountable for optimization of operational delivery or allocation and steering. 
• Build and maintain good business relationship with customer(s) or ocean carrier (s) at regional and global level
• Build and align account program plan, optimization strategy and priorities internally
• Conduct MBR/QBR with customer(s) or ocean carrier (s) to ensure optimization and internal performance is reflected
• Understand impact of customer agreements on internal KPIs and align customer’s KPI and targets with internal stakeholders.
• Establish and align Regional and Origin Standard Operating Procedures
• Oversees and communicates allocations with origin teams
• Uses forecasts to help pre-plan volume placement amongst carriers.
• Lead team to optimize carrier’s allocation on both NAC & FAK, provide solutions to bring in the most profitable cargoes.
• Be the customer / carrier ‘point of contact’ and ‘go to’ person for global/regional operational/allocation steering matters and escalations.
• Shipment coordination and daily communication with internal departments and overseas partner as well as carrier etc
• Attract, develop, and retain talents within regional team
• Motivate origin teams with vision, strategy, and priorities

Requirements:

• University undergraduate or relevant industry certificate.
• At least 5 years of working experience in Ocean Freight Forwarder Transpacific Trade (Experience in regional is an advantage)
• Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 
• Strong analytical, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, detail-minded and willing to work overtime
• Immediate available is preferred

Working Location: Tsim Sha Tsui East
