Project Title: Virtual Interdisciplinary Research Centre

[Appointment Period: 12 months]

The appointee will be responsible for implementing a storybook reading programme in schools for children aged 3-8. Specific duties include collaborating with schools and educational organizations to implement the programme; preparing materials for schools and parents; conducting demonstrations to showcase the benefits of the programme to children; addressing inquiries from schools, parents, and educators; and providing administrative assistance to the Principal Investigator and the project team. The appointment will be for a period of 12 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement.

For the post of Research Assistant I, applicants should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related discipline, with at least one year of post-qualification working experience. For the post of Research Assistant II, applicants should have at least Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects including Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics in HKDSE; or Grade E (Level 2) or above in five subjects including Chinese, English (Syllabus B) and Mathematics in HKCEE or equivalent. Applicants should have high proficiency in both Chinese and English, along with excellent communication skills. They should be proficient in video editing (e.g., VSDC Video Editor, Adobe Premiere) and photo editing (e.g., Adobe Illustrator), and capable of working independently and multitasking effectively. Strong connections with kindergartens and primary schools would be an advantage. Immediate availability is preferred.
