Job description:

Responsibilities

 

Environmental compliance and management

• Monitoring and reporting of Crystal factories' environmental compliance and performance
• Developing analytics for environmental data and performing the corresponding data analyses
• Conducting audits and assessments according to Group's mechanism to factories e.g. waste management and chemical safety
• Assisting factories in fulfilling customers' environmental-related requirements

Environmental actions for decarbonization, water conservation and waste management

• Monitoring and reporting of the adoption progress of renewable energy, energy efficient technologies, freshwater conservation measures and waste management across the Group
• Researching and advising the available renewable energy, energy efficient technologies, freshwater conservation measures and waste management opportunities, as well as the corresponding feasibilities and limitations

Group environmental targets

• Tracking progress of the group level environmental targets, which include climate change, water conservation, waste management, chemical management and other environmental initiatives
• Developing monitoring and reporting mechanisms for the Group's environmental targets

Others

• Supporting environmental training and engagement activities for Crystal factories
• Other ad-hoc tasks related to the department's functions

 

Requirements

 

• Degree in environmental science/engineering or other related disciplines in sustainability
• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experiences
• Knowledge in data analytical and visualization tools such as Power BI, will be an advantage  
• Knowledge in environmental sustainability is preferred, such as renewable energy, carbon accounting and waste management
• Skills and experience in project coordination, reporting and presentation
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
• Hands-on experience in the fashion or manufacturing industry will be an advantage
