An experienced professional who manages the mechanical system within all our Data Centers and to lead and ensure the mechanical systems are continuously operating with maximum efficiency and meeting our customer SLAs.
Job Responsibilities:
Manages a team of mechanical engineers, who will be working related to HVAC, Chiller System, Fire Suppression System and plumbing system to ensure that a high quality, cost-effective service is delivered by the department in support of the Data Center Operations plan.
Develops and manages the improvement project schedules related to mechanical engineering function
Provides technical support related to mechanical engineering issues
Review analysis data on systems performance in order to predict and prevent systems from failing
Capacity review on critical components to ensure system efficiency and to improve PUE
Review of any change request to related to mechanical engineering function to ensure changes will not disrupt operation
Perform risk management to ensure all risk are considered during operation
Defines the continuous improvement opportunities to improve the mechanical system performance and efficiency for Data Center
Establish and maintain the standard operating and emergency operating procedure for front line operation in maximize operation efficiency across all our sites
Restore operation to the normal state in the timely manner with considerations on operational risk
Delivery of operation reports, management reports and customer reports
Provide support on Annual internal / external audit to ensure the compliance with respective certifications.
Other duties and responsibilities as required
Job Requirements:
Degree or above of Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related discipline
At least 10 years' experience in Infrastructure operations which 7 years in mission critical facilities
Relevant working experience in service provider is preferred
Professional / Chartered Engineer is preferred
Nice to have REW A0 / B0 or above
With DC Cooling Professional (DC Dynamics) is preferred
ISO 50001 / 45001 Internal Audit is preferred
Good communication skill and able to work independently
