About the job:
Job Purpose & Objectives
To support the Client Coverage team to explore business opportunities with clients along with their business expansion into BBVA footprint countries;
To support Coverage team to grow business, deepen the relationship with existing clients and on board new corporate client relationships;
To maximize the revenues and profitability of the Bank through originating cross-selling activities;
Key Responsibilities
Develop, manage and monitor a HK, AU, KOR clients by extending appropriate banking facilities including cross-selling of corporate products, with the objective to maximize the Bank’s profitability, business growth and ensure a quality credit portfolio;
Build and monitor strong and lasting relationships with Corporate Banking customers and identify business potentials with an aim to support overall business growth and achieve revenue targets;
Coordinate among various business lines in BBVA footprint countries to support clients business expansion;
Deliver high quality underwriting recommendations based on sound judgment, and a systematic and consistent approach in line with Bank’s policies;
Prepare business proposals and formulate account strategy with associated income forecast, maximize return from the clients by cross selling and promoting various products and services of the Bank;
Maintain regular client contact for daily servicing matters and ongoing account monitoring;
Work closely with product teams and risk teams to make the appropriate strategy on the clients to grow business;
Liaise with legal and compliance departments to complete documentation and KYC procedures;
Prepare internal reports to facilitate strategic business planning and management decision;
Job Specifications
Qualification & Experience
A university degree in business, finance, economics or related field, master degree is preferred
Client coverage experience is preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
Broad general knowledge, high versatility and flexibility, great attention to details, good logical and critical thinking, a sharp and analytical mind
PC literacy (Microsoft Office including word, excel and powerpoint)
Proactive with good interpersonal and communication skills
Language
Fluency in written and spoken English
Spanish is an advantage
