A well-known financial organisation which focusses on managing the Exchange Fund is looking for a talented IT Security Specialist for their IT team.

Your new role

• Create and oversee an IT security architectural model that is well-thought-out, including reference and blueprint architectures, governance models, design patterns, and security standards that are in line with industry standards and business and IT strategies.
• Make sure that all IT initiatives and systems take compliance and security principles (shift-left) into account
• Serve as the Security Expert to counsel all levels of stakeholders on technology and security-related matters.
• Ensure the system security design complies with the security architecture model, design pattern, policies, and compliance requirements.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing cybersecurity solutions in an enterprise setting.
• Proficient in delivering important strategic messages, possess excellent communication abilities, and have the capacity to network and influence people both inside and outside the company.
• Thorough comprehension of security and data privacy concepts, as well as familiarity with new technologies and associated security trends.
• Effective problem-solving skills include researching an issue, weighing potential solutions, and coming up with ideas.
• Preferable security certifications include CISSP, CISM, TOGAF, and SABSA.
