Job Highlights: 

The Inspector, M&E will supervise and monitor the building services installations at project sites as assigned. He / She will interact with various Departments internally and represent the Company to deal with consultants, contractors, suppliers and government bodies externally.

Responsibilities: 

• Inspects M&E installations at site and ensures the quality and workmanship comply with specifications
• Monitors M&E installation progress and prepares regular reports for superiors
• Monitors the testing and commissioning of M&E installations at site
• Assists in solving M&E technical problems at site
• Participates in site meetings
• Coordinates with Main contractors and M&E Contractors

Requirements: 

• Higher Diploma or above in Building Services / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 6 to 8 years’ solid experience in construction site inspection
• Knowledge of M&E disciplines, industry practices and legal requirements
• Strong technical knowledge, experience and judgement to define and solve problems on site subject to departmental policies, procedures and practices
• Strong safety sense
• Self-motivated, team player with good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Proficiency in MS Office
