We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Production Manager (Business Improvement) to lead transformative initiatives within our production operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in optimizing processes, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a high-performance culture. This role is critical to modernizing and standardizing our workflows, reducing waste, and ensuring sustainable, profitable growth. The ideal candidate will own the entire production process. They will strategize with other internal teams to ensure operational excellence. The will also run quality assessment to ensure customer satisfaction. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Identify production pain points and develop actionable improvement plans to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Conduct Business Process Analysis (BPA) to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and implement modern, standardized processes
  • Act as a change agent, challenging the status quo and leading key improvement projects to achieve business objectives
  • Identify and implement tools, technologies, and best practices to elevate production performance
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure safety, quality, and operational excellence
  • Promote a continuous improvement culture by showcasing successful examples and mentoring teams
  • Oversee all aspects of production, including standard operating procedures (SOP), resource allocation, and equipment maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulatory standards, and employee training programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to develop production schedules and budgets
  • Manage team well-being, development, and succession planning to build a high-performance workforce
  • Lead, coach, and inspire the production team members, building the core competencies and capabilities in the team to deliver on speed to market needs to meet operational and financial metrics


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electronic Engineering or related fields (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is highly desirable
  • Proven experience in process optimization, project management, and change leadership
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to manage resources, budgets, and timelines effectively
  • A commitment to fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
