Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing accounting functions, including preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will play a critical role in providing accurate financial data to support decision-making and drive operational efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of various accounts, ensuring all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights on financial performance and variances to budget.
• Support the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors and ensuring accurate documentation is provided.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to accounting and financial reporting.
• Implement and improve internal accounting processes and controls to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support business initiatives.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards.

Requirements:

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare or startup environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
