About the Client:
We are seeking a highly experienced Regulatory Reporting Automation Project Manager to lead and manage critical projects focused on automating regulatory reporting processes for or client in investment banking and wealth management. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with CFTC, BAFT, and OTC regulations while driving efficiency through automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, regulatory reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end automation of regulatory reporting processes, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and progress tracking.
- Facilitate regular project meetings and provide updates to senior stakeholders on project status and key milestones.
- Ensure compliance with CFTC, BAFT, and OTC regulations across various asset classes, including derivatives, fixed income, and commodities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize automated regulatory reporting solutions.
- Identify and address potential compliance issues related to automation initiatives.
- Engage and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders to align project goals and expectations.
- Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to resolve project-related issues and ensure successful project delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement in regulatory reporting processes through automation and stakeholder feedback.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management, with a focus on regulatory reporting and automation within investment banking or wealth management.
- Proven track record in leading and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong functional knowledge of various asset classes, including derivatives (OTC and commodity), fixed income, and equities.
- Expertise in regulatory reporting frameworks such as CFTC, BAFT, and OTC.
- Experience with automation tools and technologies in the context of regulatory reporting.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive project success.
