INTERNATIONAL OFFICE

Assistant Officer (role: Global Engagement Officer) (24250125)

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, implement and deliver targeted initiatives and activities;
  • Develop strategic partnerships and promote internationalisation; and
  • Co-ordinate student mobility and integration and deliver global experiential activities.

Requirements:

  • A recognised degree with at least two years of work experience;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua) is required;
  • A self-starter with an outgoing personality and positive attitude;
  • Able to work effectively with people from different cultures, enthusiastic about working with students, detail-oriented, able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced office;
  • Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a can-do attitude; and
  • Proven experience in global education and overseas work and/or study experience will be an advantage. 

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test. 

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years.Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. 

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
