In this role, your goals will be:

In 3 months

  • Understanding Nexus: Gain a comprehensive understanding of GroupM agency and Nexus team structures, specific client requirements, and digital ad operations workflows
  • Building Relationships: Establish relationship with various stakeholders, both internal and external parties
  • Mastering Processes: Familiarize yourself with Nexus workflow process and provide guidance to the team to ensure seamless implementation with accuracy across different platforms (e.g. Campaign Manager, IAS, Double Verify, etc)

In 6 months

  • Improvement Implementation: Leads the team to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct Analyses: Perform complex analyses of a range of information and identify issues before they become problems.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with various parties within the digital spectrum for effective campaign delivery, such as GroupM agency planners, creative agencies, and digital publishers.
  • AdTech Consultation: Provide consultation on ad tech architecture, lead consultation, and deployment of tracking and measurement solutions.

In 12 months

  • Industry Expertise: Promote and demonstrate knowledge of new trends, channels and technologies across ad operations.
  • Initiative Deployment: Provide leadership and support on the testing and deployment of regional initiatives
  • Strategic Partnership: Act as a strategic partner to provide consultation on the correct setup of campaigns, tagging strategy, and the use of web technologies to meet client needs
  • Team Leadership: Establish a clear vision and directions for the AdOps team, ensuring alignment with overall GroupM objectives.

What your day job looks like:

The Ad Operations Manager works closely with GroupM Agency Planners, GroupM Nexus teams, and other GroupM divisions to execute and improve digital AdOperations and processes, with a strong focus on DCM. This role involves providing technical expertise through third-party tracking technologies and solutions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Addressing all technical specifications across material requisitions, handling creative assets, and tracking requirements across biddable and non-biddable digital activities.
  • Regular review and improvement of AdOperations processes to enhance campaign delivery, ensuring governance and compliance with finance processes and other GroupM policies.
  • Facilitating cross-functional team collaboration, encouraging knowledge sharing, and advocating best practices in AdTech trends and new technologies, particularly related to DCM.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of digital AdOps experience and excellent knowledge in digital media
  • At least one Tag management system certification, with a strong preference for DCM certification.
  • Able to effectively develop and motivate people to achieve joint goals
  • Meticulous attention to detail and effective communication skills
  • Able to efficiently prioritize and delegate tasks
  • Passionate about digital media, AdTech and technology and eager to keep learning
