Duties

The appointee will be responsible for leading and managing the Higher Diploma in Social Work Programme (both full-time and part-time modes). Duties will include programme/course management and development, organizing student activities, assisting in student recruitment, promoting programme activities, and any other duties as assigned by the College. Professorial-grade staff are also expected to engage in research.

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. A master’s degree or a doctoral degree in Social Work or a related discipline;
2. At least 10 years of experience in teaching and managing tertiary education programmes;
3. No less than five years’ full-time-equivalent Post-degree Professional Practising Experience; and
4. A Registered Social Worker of the Social Workers Registration

Salary and Conditions of Service 

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will normally be made on fixed-term contract for one year. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental schemes.
