Major Responsibilities:

To lead the AXA Hong Kong vision for operational resilience to protect our stakeholders by securing our physical and information assets, managing our security risks and enabling business strategies in an efficient and effective way, fully supported by executive leadership and underpinned by all AXA employees.

To ensure a coordinated response to security threats, enable consistent risk decisions and to maintain sustainable security capabilities integrated with the business.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the ongoing Operational Resilience (OR), Business Continuity Management (BCM) and IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) against AXA Standards
  • Contribute to applying continuous updates / improvements to meet compliance requirements
  • Act as the BCM Lead in coordinating with business the ongoing maintenance of Business Continuity Plans (BCP), such as the scenario of Massive IT Outage, Unavailability of critical 3rd parties
  • Develop and lead training courses for awareness and understanding of OR, BCM, Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and BCP maintenance
  • Lead the design and implementation of ransomware response initiatives, focusing on a fast technical response in terms of containment, eradication, and recovery during ransomware incidents.
  • Ensure a coordinated response to security threats and enable consistent risk decisions while maintaining sustainable security capabilities integrated with the business.
  • Ensure relevant training for the Crisis Management Team (CMT)
  • Assist in Vendor Security Assessment/ Due Diligence (VSA/ VSDD)
  • Define and document project plans, action plans, anticipate roadblocks and propose solutions
  • Lead projects relating to business process design, systems integration and risk analysis to identify and address business continuity weaknesses
  • Collaborate with departments to mitigate identified risks and enhance operational resilience strategies. Perform market research on the latest trends in security system implementation and provide solution to any possible security threats
  • Provide local oversight to ensure Facilities Services are in place and specific plans are developed and executed
  • Formulate and execute innovative ideas to improve operational efficiencies with close monitoring in budget

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified, preferably in Business, IT/Engineering or related disciplines
  • 5+ years' experience / background in in Operational Resilience & BCM is essential
  • BCM professional qualification advantageous such as CBCP, CBCI etc.
  • Good Business Impact Analysis (BIA) skills
  • Experience in IT Infrastructure & disaster recovery highly advantageous
  • Experience in Customer Service Operations advantageous
  • Able to communicate to all levels of the organization, including technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
