The Department

The position reports to the Deputy Executive Manager, Racing Project, Programme Management Office, Racing, to support Racing related projects / initiatives in Hong Kong and the Mainland China.

The position will also support GBA Development projects including but not limit to the Racing in CRC 2026, Animal Waste Management Project, SP 30 Product and Brand Development in Mainland, and other Equine Value Chain related projects.

The Job

You will:

• Work with assigned Racing departments to review the dual-site operating models and other Racing Division initiatives specifically in the areas of:

  • As-is operating processes and operating results for new requirements

  • Business & financial justifications

  • Enhancement opportunities

  • Efficiency improvement opportunities

• Assist to manage assigned projects including scope management, schedule, development activities, and quality & alignment of deliverables to objectives;

• Collaborate with Racing departments and other departments of the Club to review operating data, identify trends, provide analysis, and suggest possible opportunities to improve operating results;

• Work with assigned work streams on implementation planning, related documentations and PowerPoint Presentations;

• Conduct research and analysis of projects in Hong Kong and the Mainland;

• Compile reports based on the outcomes to articulate findings;

• Assist to manage projects in supporting the Racing Department’s development in Hong Kong and the Mainland;

• Undertake any ad-hoc projects as directed by the management.

About You

You should have:

• A Bachelor degree in any Business disciplines, Marketing, Journalism or other related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in business project management experience
• Mainland project experience gained from MNC is a strong plus
• General Management Consulting experience is a strong plus
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Results-driven, flexible and able to handle multiple tasks
• Understanding of the Racing / Equine industry is a strong advantage
• Excellent PowerPoint skills, business writing skills to create presentations for management reports
• Strong business acumen with an analytic mind-set
• Strong stakeholder management skill
• Excellent with Excel, Word and the suite of Microsoft Package applications
• Strong attention to details
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese
