Principal Responsibilities

• Ensure all production problems related to Open Systems platform are being resolved and properly followed up by service provider in order to minimize the business impact
• Review and approve all change requests related to the tower
• Monitor and review the infrastructure service provided by outsourcing vendors are consistent with best industry practices
• Ensure infrastructure service provided by service provider is compliant with audit and information security requirements
• Ensure capacity planning exercise is carried out by service provider in order to address our business needs
• Ensure the operability and the execution of open systems related disaster recovery plans
• Manage Open Systems platform related charging and budget
• Manage and drive Open Systems related projects and/or initiatives when required
• Strive for or service excellence through continuous improvement

Requirements

• Degree holder in Information System or related disciplines
• Minimum 7 years of experience in IT & banking industry and familiar with banking technologies
• Technical knowledge in WinTel, AIX, Linux, AIX, database, VM, SAN , and IP network
• With projects management skills
• Extensive experience in the following areas:
  • vendor management, especially on managing outsourcing vendors
  • technical support on Wintel, AIX, Linux, Virtual Machine (VM) platform, Storage Area Network (SAN) and data centre operation
  • experience in support enterpise platform and data transfer protocal(Tectia SSH, IBM Connect:Direct)
  • banking industry and banking systems
  • problem and change management processes
• With exposure on the following areas:
  • IT budgeting
  • team management
• Written/verbal communications skills in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)
