Our client is a sizable company. Due to the rapid growth of the company, they are now looking for talented individuals to join the professional team.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for servers, operating system, and database administration (from installation, configuration, upgrade, performance tuning to troubleshooting)
• Design and implement backup strategy, system disaster recovery, security, business continuity of the database systems
• Provide infrastructure planning and corresponding best practices and to establish workflow, control process and documentation accordingly

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline
• At least one year's experience in Oracle or MSSQL database administration and support
• Experience in supporting a sizable database system including RAC, SAN and Disaster Recovery
• Technical experience in Unix/Linux is a plus
• Support experience in database recovery methods will be an advantage BUT not essential
• Strong analytical, problem solving skills, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Applicants with Unix/Linux experience only   will also be considered for a  Junior /  Assistant DBA Role
