You’ll need to have:

  • Proven experience in a management role or equivalent, managing a multi-disciplinary team in a major infrastructure project(s) of similar scale in the role. 
  • Leading, directing and coordinating key aspects of large scale, complex project/programme/portfolio(s) including, but not limited to, overseeing and leading the design, establishment and coordination of project controls processes, systems, reports, data and insights to identify, communicate, mitigate and manage commercial, schedule and integration risk.
  • Responsibility for overall overseeing of the design, establishment and execution of project controls related governance and assurance frameworks, including policies, processes and systems, particularly with respect to control baseline management, change control, cost forecasting, schedule integration and forecasting, earned value management, risk management, scope management, contract management and performance reporting.
  • Responsibility for overall overseeing of the establishment and operationalization of project controls and performance management on major project/programme/portfolio(s) including project execution plans, the development and management of key performance indicators, monitoring and reporting on delivery performance and project health, quantitative risk assessment and risk mitigation actions to support decision making. 
  • Responsibility for overall overseeing of the establishment, maintenance, monitoring, controlling and reporting against integrated master schedules on major project/programme/portfolio(s) as well as coordination, standardization and integration across consultants and contractors. 
  • Leading and directing planning, scheduling and programming optimization activities, including, but not limited to, periodic programme planning reviews, scenario modelling, resource allocation evaluations and logistics planning for the movement of materials, plant, equipment and the like.
  • Advising at a senior leadership and strategic level throughout the project lifecycle on the different approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve the client’s overall objectives.

You’ll also have:

  • Proven experience as project manager, project manager’s delegate, construction manager or site agent in the use of NEC engineering and construction contracts and accreditation or certification of NEC project manager or service manager is considered an asset.
  • Excellent written communication skills, clear and concise.
  • In depth knowledge of schedule management tools and software.
  • Stays up to date with current key industry/professional trends.
  • Strong management skills and talent development.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication and collaborative relationships with the client and other project stakeholders (internal and external).
