ABOUT THE JOB:

Retail Design Guidelines and Principles

• Develop retail design principles, guidelines, standards, and concepts, and oversee their execution across various sales channels in Hong Kong and Taiwan, ensuring alignment with global standards.
• Adapt global design guidelines for local market implementation, ensuring timely and budget-conscious rollouts for both renovations and new projects.

Retail Design On-Ground Support

• Lead the creative design process for new concepts and retail formats to enhance the consumer experience journey and brand perception.
• Monitor Retail Design and live experience trends, analyse performance metrics and provide market-appropriate solutions for events, roadshows, or other onsite design needs.

Project Management & Cost Efficiency

• Oversee and monitor the work progress of projects from the concept to completion, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery. Regular site meetings will be conducted to align progress, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high performance levels.
• Monitor project costs to ensure adherence to budget requirements. Support value engineering by identifying opportunities for cost savings, project efficiencies, and innovative design solutions that improve overall project delivery

Collaboration

• Partner with the shopper marketing team to ensure impactful and creative in-store presentations.
• Manage the expectations of key stakeholders for each project – including design and commercial expectations.
• Oversee and manage vendors and contractors to maintain quality and consistency in the construction of all counters and standalone points of sale (POS).

Vendor Qualification

• Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential new vendors and contractors to meet business requirements.
• Provide training for new and existing contractors, keeping them updated on new techniques, details, and directions for retail design.

ABOUT THE CANDIDATE:

• Degree/ Diploma in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or equivalent.
• At least 7 years of post-qualification experience in mid to high-end retail projects, including planning, design development, and technical execution.
• Strong track record working in retail design and visual merchandising
• Strong in communication, planning, organization and time management. Self-motivated and able to handle multiple projects.
• High attention to detail, good analytical skills and problem-solving skills, and good business acumen
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D software, Microsoft Project, SketchUp, and Photoshop.
• Fluency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Manager.
