Roles and Requirements
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all hotel’s equipment, machinery, and systems, including chiller systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, water treatment, boiler systems, and other mechanical systems
- Set up and implement preventative maintenance programs and regular inspections for all major systems and E&M equipment. Ensure all equipment are in sound operational condition;
- Manage and lead a dynamic team, including outsourced service contractors, to provide quality services and to ensure efficient and effective operations;
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, including those relating to fire safety and government rules and regulations;
- Prepare budgets and reports in relation to all Engineering matters and assist in capital projects management and procurement
- Tertiary education in Building Services, Property Management, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years relevant hotel industry experience with 3 years in a management capacity.
- Solid experiences of building operations, maintenance and projects procurement.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Well organized, strong analytical mind and problem solving techniques.
- Independent and able to work under pressure.
- Holder of Registered Electrical Worker Certificate (Grade B) and familiar with Hong Kong Government Licensing Regulations.
- Preferred with Energy Audit and Sustainability Working Experience.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
