AVP - Management Reporting, Planning & Analysis
OCBC Bank (Hong Kong) LimitedWhat you will be doing:
- Establish strong working relationship as the primary contact point for businesses on financial performance related matters.
- Work closely with business segments to review financial performance, set strategic targets in the annual operating plan, and follow up progress with forecast and projection.
- Drive data-driven analysis to track and explain segment performance, e.g. identify and explain the business drivers, analyse trends, evaluate key performance indicators, etc.
- Address business queries on Fund Transfer Pricing, Cost Allocation, Joint Income and other financial related matters.
- Roll out dashboard reporting tools to business units to drive self-help analysis.
- Ensure proper revenue recognition, expense booking, income sharing, etc for accurate segment performance.
- Collaborate with other teams in Finance and other departments locally, as well as Group Finance teams.
- Support new projects and initiatives; Improve efficiency through streamlining of workflow and building greater degree of automation.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in management reporting and business performance analysis in reputable financial institutions, preferably with regional exposure.
- Comprehensive knowledge of banking products, and management reporting concepts such as internal fund transfer pricing and cost allocation
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability as a strong business partner
- Resourceful in providing analytical tools and relevant solutions to address business requests
- Proficiency in MS Excel for reporting and deep dive analysis;
- Proficiency in MS Powerpoint or other dashboard tools for management presentation;
- Good knowledge of visual analytics capability e.g. PowerBI or similar tools would be an advantage.
