Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the GTB Cash & Trade Sales in Hong Kong.
  • Set and deliver the Sales targets and KPIs aligning to overall GTB targets covering all the business unit segments 
  • Formulate sales strategies and drive execution to grow operating business across the business segments and industries.
  • Work with sales teams in the region to win regional operating mandates to grow regional GTB business.
  • Train and elevate the sales team to understand customer requirements, craft relevant complex solutions and deliver the One Bank strategy to the market.
  • Leverage regional experience to support our continued growth in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
  • Work closely together with the Product Heads and Channels Heads to identify gaps in our product offering as well as enhancements and developments needed to proactively meet our customers future requirements in this region.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Implementation Head and Business Heads / RMs to ensure we follow a “customer first” approach to our sales/implementations/servicing
  • Leverage experience from other institutions to contribute to the overall business strategy and growth.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Information Technology or related disciplines
  • More than 15 years of transaction banking experience with more than 5 years of managerial experience
  • Experience in managing China corporate business with fluent Mandarin is an added advantage
  • Able to formulate broad and deep transaction banking strategy through understand resources and capacity aligning to bank wide aspirations.
  • Able to engage senior leadership teams in the bank to get support for GTB growth initiatives
  • Able to engage clients at both senior and working levels to support pitching of GTB business.
  • Proven track record in cross cultural and matrix business settings
  •  GTB Cash & Trade Sales iFormulation and implementation of business strategy across all business segments
