What's Your Role?
This role is responsible for provides stewardship oversight on Finance system, maintains the stability of financial reporting system and processes, collects system data and ensures the quality of deliverables.

What you will be doing:
  • Provide governance & stewardship oversight on Finance database under SAS platform and HK Management Information Online Enquiry System (HKMIS)
  • Ensure the data integrity, security and availability in support of Finance’s specialized reporting and analytical needs
  • Prepare daily/monthly/yearly BAU reports and financial dashboards for financial/regulatory/management purposes such as the consolidated profit variance report, consolidated profit & loss report, annual drill exercise regarding on HK Deposit Protection Scheme, etc
  • Monitor and support system performance, troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality
  • Collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure financial system meet the needs of the business
  • Ensure upstream system changes as well as new systems that may impact Finance database and HKMIS are appropriately tested and verified
  • Maintain the technology equipment and software inventory for Finance Division
  • Facilitate and participate in projects and tasks in relation to enhancement of finance reporting and analytics automation by using MS Excel, VBA, SQL, SAS, UiPath, Qlikview, MS Power BI
  • Participate in business process reengineering activities to identify and analyze business process. It aims for streamlining the work process with innovative approach
  • Establish and enforce internal controls and procedures to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of the operations.
  • Participate in ad hoc assignments or other projects as assigned by the supervisor / management.

What we are looking for?
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics or similar credentials
  • Minimum 4-years relevant experience, preferably in banking industry
  • Good knowledge of SQL and VBA, preferably with SAS, UiPath, Qlikview, PowerBI & DOS script knowledge
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Manager
