Responsibilities

  • Conduct literature review, oral history interviews and field trips
  • Design, compile and draft learning and teaching materials
  • Liaise with schools and other work and community partners
  • Co-ordinate workshops, seminars, exhibitions, carnivals and other educational activities
  • Teach in workshops for primary and secondary school students
  • Handle documentation of all materials related to project(s)
  • Facilitate general administrative work
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator and seniors


Requirements

  • A recognized Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in History, Chinese, Translation or Social Sciences
  • At least 2 years work experiences in teaching or education field and/or project coordination
  • A good command of spoken and written Chinese (Cantonese) and English
  • Strong sense of responsibility, meticulous and well organized
  • High self-motivation, good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in PC operations (MS Office applications and Chinese Word Processing)


Salary and Benefits

The commencing salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.   Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits and mandatory provident fund. Appointment will normally be made on contract basis for up to 12 months.
