GAC Hong Kong is seeking candidates for the role of Ship Agent Trainee.

Job Purpose

• Assist the Shipping team in handling the daily work of vessel husbandry services
• Follow-up on job files and ship calls
• Maintain good communication and service with ships, Principals and key parties
  
  

Key Tasks

• Board ships to handle port clearances, crew change, Cash To Master, spares delivery and container vessel documentation
• Process formalities and declaration requirements
• Liaise with stakeholders such as port & customs authorities, stevedores, ship suppliers, repairers and cargo interests
• Hong Kong Resident
• Form 5 / DSE graduate
• Fresh graduates interested in the ship agency industry are welcomed
• Familiar and adept using Microsoft Office applications
• Good English and Chinese communication skills
• Smart, self-motivated and fast learner
• Graduate with maritime-related educational background or seagoing work experience is an advantage, but not a must
