Rapidly expanding financial services client seeking a Responsible Officer (RO) for their insurance brokerage business. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in obtaining the license for their new insurance brokerage business.

The budget for this position ranges from 700k to 1mil base salary.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the insurance brokerage firm to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements established by the Insurance Authority (IA).
• Support the preparation and submission of license applications to the Insurance Authority (IA).
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations on a range of insurance products and services.
• Train and mentor junior staff, encouraging a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry, including a minimum of 3 years in a managerial position.
• Must currently hold a RO license from an insurance broker company.
• Established relationships with leading insurers in Hong Kong, with the ability to obtain reference letters.
• In-depth understanding of the regulatory framework and requirements of the Insurance Authority (IA).
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Fluency in both Chinese and English
