At ConnectedGroup, we are supporting a local higher education institution in the search for a Senior Counselling Manager.

Reporting into the Head of the Department, this person will be responsible for providing holistic care to students, supporting them through counselling, mentoring, workshop delivery and orientation.

The eligible candidate should be a Masters' degree holder, with Clinical Psychology Background , fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. Previous experience working with students is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing individual and group counseling to help students overcome challenges and achieve personal growth.
• Conducting engaging workshops, seminars, and orientation activities on mental health, academic concerns, and life skills.
• Offering timely intervention for students, faculty, and staff in crisis situations.
• Assisting students from various cultural backgrounds in maximizing their educational experience.
• Advising faculty and staff on student mental health issues and development.
• Providing clinical supervision to fellow counselors.

Requirements :

• Master's degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, or related disciplines.
• 8+ years of relevant post-qualification experience, including supervisory experience ideally having worked with students.
• Registration or eligibility for registration with professional bodies such as the Hong Kong Psychological Society and Hong Kong Professional Counseling Association.
• Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, group work, and crisis intervention skills.
