Program Manager - Talent Development and Education

Reporting into the team Lead, the Program Manager will be responsible for developing, managing, and overseeing programs related to education and capacity building, targeting children and youth, and training social workers and education leaders in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive, develop and implement projects dedicated to education and talent development.
  • Oversee project development and advancement, identify areas of improvement, and measure its impact and objective achievement pathway.
  • Develop and manage year-long activities and events, engage, and build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Oversee budget planning and control, manage internal and external processes, and ensure program integrity.
  • Produce high quality reports for committee, board, and internal team meetings.
  • Represent the team and be and be advocate for the team's mission, be present at ceremonies, functions, and relevant events.
  • Oversee the works and development of other team members and support them where needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of professional experience.
  • Solid track record of project management, with people management experience, with a strong goal-oriented leadership style.
  • Knowledge and interest in the education and social welfare in Hong Kong, knowledge of community needs, government policies, education, training, or development.
  • Excellent writing proficiency in Chinese and English, heavy reporting required.
  • Proficiency in Chinese and English is a must.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.

Candidates with less years of experience will be considered as Assistant Program Managers.
