Job Description
As an Oracle EBS Data Migration and Integration Consultant with 10+ years of experience, you will be responsible for End to end Data Migration, designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions to seamlessly connect Oracle E-Business Suite with various third-party applications and systems. You will work closely with Implementation partner and business SMEs to understand business requirements, assess existing systems, and take end to end ownership of Data Migration and develop integration solution to optimize processes and enhance overall system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Migration Strategy & Execution:
- Analyze business and technical requirements to design efficient data migration strategies.
- Develop and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for migrating data from legacy systems to Oracle ERP.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency throughout the migration process.
- Technical Development & Support:
- Design and develop migration scripts using SQL, Python, PL/SQL, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and other relevant tools.
- Develop custom programs, APIs, and interfaces to facilitate data migration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Provide guidance and best practices on data cleansing, mapping, and transformation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to validate and reconcile migrated data.
- Testing & Documentation:
- Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate migrated data.
- Maintain detailed documentation for data migration processes, configurations, and customizations.
- Provide post-migration support and assist in performance tuning.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in Oracle ERP technical development, with a focus on data migration.
- Hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud ERP, E-Business Suite (EBS), or Fusion Applications.
- Strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle APIs, and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
- Experience with data mapping, cleansing, and validation techniques.
- Knowledge of Oracle BI Publisher, Web Services, and integration tools is a plus.
- Technical & Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Certifications:
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) – Database or Oracle Cloud certifications.
