AML Transaction Monitoring
Your new role
- Perform AML/CFT risk assessment and conduct reviews for the enhancement of the Anti-Money Laundering
(AML)/ Counter-Financing Terrorism (CFT) function - Investigate suspicious transactions related to money laundering and financial crimes, and prepare Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs).
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of transaction monitoring systems.
- Effectively identify and address money laundering and fraud risks in alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Keep departmental policies, procedures, and operational manuals up to date.
- Prepare internal/external reports to management, regulators and Head Office.
- Participate in ad-hoc tasks/projects as assigned.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in Finance, Law, Business or related discipline(s)
- Requires around 1-2 years of AML experience, preferably in transaction monitoring (from Banking).
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, responsibility, and excellent communication abilities.
- ACAMS or AAMLP certifications are preferred, but not a must.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
