Upwork has partnered with an enterprise client who's a data factory for generative AI, providing high-quality, differentiated data to leading model builders and enterprise AI teams

They are currently seeking Linguistic experts in Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong) to create and refine content for generative AI models to ensure accuracy and relevance across a wide array of topics.

Job Description

Educating AI: Analyze and provide feedback on AI-generated outputs in order to directly improve the AI's accuracy and ability to apply its knowledge to real-world problems

Problem Solving: Provide step-by-step solutions and explanations to complex problems to teach the AI how to reason through these problems effectively

Red Teaming: Identify potential biases, limitations, or inaccuracies in the AI's knowledge base. Design and conduct tests that push the boundaries of the model's understanding, ensuring its outputs are reliable and applicable to real-world scenarios.

Continuous Improvement: Work collaboratively with AI engineers and researchers to ensure that the AI model evolves based on feedback, ultimately improving its performance and ability to interact meaningfully with users.

Qualifications

• Native Proficiency in Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong): Exceptional writing skills in Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong), with the ability to clearly communicate complex feedback and explanations.
• Residency in Hong Kong: Applicants must be residents of Hong Kong and have a strong understanding of local language, culture, and context.
• Education: An Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited institution is required.
• Professional Writing Experience: Previous experience in a writing-intensive role (e.g., researcher, journalist, technical writer, editor) is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
• AI Training Experience: While prior experience in AI-related tasks or training models is preferred, it is not mandatory. A willingness to learn and contribute to AI development is key.
