Role Overview
Bakehouse is looking for a Sales Executive - Corporate who plays a critical role in driving business growth by building and maintaining client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and promoting the company's products or services. They are integral in forming the link between the client and our production team, retail ops team and HQ.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Business Development
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, group bookings, and event inquiries.
- Conduct market research to analyse trends, understand customer needs, and identify competitive advantages.
- Contribute ideas and feedback on expanding corporate sales offerings (e.g., new product bundles, seasonal promotions).
Client Relationship Management
- Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients, such as corporate accounts, event planners, and distributors.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Oversee the entire order process, from inquiry to delivery, collaborating with internal teams for timely fulfilment.
Product Promotion
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the company’s food and beverage offerings, including unique selling points.
- Organize and participate in sales presentations, product demonstrations, trade exhibitions, and promotional events.
Sales Operations
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, contracts, and client interactions.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance for senior management.
- Ensure timely follow-ups on client requests or complaints to avoid loss of business.
- Meet or exceed sales targets through proactive engagement with clients.
- Monitor account performance and revenue generation from assigned portfolios.
- Help maintain web shop content, pricing, and product listings to ensure accurate, up-to-date information for corporate customers.
Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing teams to align promotional campaigns with sales objectives.
- Coordinate with F&B outlet managers to promote special events or seasonal offerings.
- Partner with operations teams to ensure product availability and quality.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, hospitality management, or a related field is preferred
- Fresh graduate are welcome. With 1-2 years of experience in sales or business development role is a plus.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms or online ordering systems is a plus.
- Having an existing network in the corporate or event space is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a large team and cross-functional stakeholders
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and other relevant tools.
- Familiarity with online ordering or web shop management.
- Familiarity with pricing strategies, inventory management, and promotional planning.
