Highway Contract no.: 14/HY/2024 Highways Department Term Contract (Management and Maintenance of Roads on Hong Kong Island excluding Expressways and High Speed Roads 2025 – 2030)

We are looking for a Slope Inspector (SI) to assist in slope inspections and maintenance operations, ensuring the safety and stability of roadside slopes.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Slope Inspection Engineer (SIE) in conducting Routine Maintenance Inspections (RMI) on roadside slopes.
Identify and report slope defects in accordance with Geoguide 5 – Guide to Slope Maintenance.
Support the execution of slope maintenance works, including drainage and surface protection.
Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on slope conditions.

Requirements (Fulfill One of the Following):

Option 1: Higher Certificate or equivalent in Civil Engineering.
Option 2: Associate Membership of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (Civil Discipline).
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience in slope works; or
Minimum 4 years of experience in civil engineering works.
Knowledge: Familiarity with Chapter 3 of Geoguide 5 and slope maintenance requirements.
