Highway Contract no.: 14/HY/2024 Highways Department Term Contract (Management and Maintenance of Roads on Hong Kong Island excluding Expressways and High Speed Roads 2025 – 2030)

We are looking for a Contract Manager (CM) to oversee the management and execution of term maintenance contracts for roads and drainage works, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise term maintenance contracts, ensuring effective execution of road and drainage maintenance works.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and government authorities to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Oversee the preparation and submission of progress reports, contract documentation, and performance evaluations.
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and contractual standards.
Provide leadership to project teams, including site agents and engineers.

Requirements (Fulfill One of the Following):

Option 1: Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) (elected after 5.12.1975) or another equivalent institution in the civil engineering discipline, with:
Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience, including 3 years in supervision and management of term maintenance contracts on roads and drainage works.
Option 2: Recognized university degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with:
Minimum 13 years of post-qualification experience, including 3 years in supervision and management of term maintenance contracts on roads and drainage works.
Additional Requirements:
Proficiency in Cantonese and English (spoken and written).
Experience with NEC TSC or ECC contracts is preferred, or completion of a recognized NEC Project Manager or Service Manager training course.
