Highway Contract no.: 14/HY/2024 Highways Department Term Contract (Management and Maintenance of Roads on Hong Kong Island excluding Expressways and High Speed Roads 2025 – 2030)

We are looking for a Site Measurement Assistant (SMA) to assist in measurement and quantity surveying tasks for term maintenance contracts, ensuring accurate records and compliance with contractual requirements.

Responsibilities:

Assist in site measurements and record-keeping for highways maintenance contracts.
Support the preparation of site measurement and hidden works records.
Maintain and update measurement documentation, including photographic and video records.
Liaise with engineers and contractors to ensure accurate reporting of work progress.
Deliver daily reports on site measurements and hidden works to the Engineer’s Representative.

Requirements (Fulfill One of the Following):

Option 1: Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building or Civil Engineering or relevant subjects, or Associate Membership of HKIE (Building/Civil/Structural Discipline) or HKIS (Quantity Surveying Division), with:
Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience in the management or supervision of highways maintenance contracts or other civil engineering contracts.
Option 2: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying work.
Additional Requirements:
Proficiency in Cantonese and English (spoken and written).
