The Division of Environment and Sustainability is an interdisciplinary academic unit dedicated to undertaking a wide range of interdisciplinary research to promote enhanced management of the environment and sustainable development and to encourage dialog with policy makers and society at large.
The Division invites applications for a teaching-track faculty position (Senior Lecturer, Lecturer I or Lecturer II). The appointee is expected to play an important role in teaching and developing undergraduate courses in environmental management and technology and sustainability, and to assist in developing student-oriented activities and other educational programs, including liaising with business and the community to set up capstone projects and internship opportunities.
Applicants should possess a PhD degree in a relevant area such as environmental law, science, engineering, urban planning, management or sustainability and a strong commitment to undergraduate education and student advising. Relevant experience in local student outreach, promotion, recruitment, and student advising will be an advantage.
Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese, good interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to take initiatives and work independently are required. The appointee should enjoy working with students. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. Housing benefits will also be provided where applicable. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
