Job Duties:

• Responsible for deployment, configuration, and support of on-premise Red Hat Enterprise Linux Operating System for a HKSAR government sector customer
• Non-Supervisory position, reporting to infrastructure team supervisor
• Non-Shift Duty Role, but out of office hour support is expected

Job Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above
• Minimum of 3 years of solid hands-on experience in on-premise RHEL server support, including installation, configuration, OS hardening, OS patching and troubleshooting of RHEL 8 servers in an environment with over 100 physical or virtualised RHEL instances
• Minimum of 3 years of solid experience in one or more of the following domains:

1. SAN Environment (Brocade SAN Switch and HDS VSP Series Storage)
2. Virtualization Platform (VMware vSphere)
3. Centralised Patch Management Software (Yum Repo)

• Holder of following certificates are a plus:

1. Red Hat Certified Engineer
2. LPIC Level 2
3. VMware VCP-DCV

• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Come from an IT System Integration company background is an advantage
