WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The MRDI is looking for an attentive and highly motivated Executive Assistant, who will provide all-round support to the Chief Director (Corporate Services) (“CD(CS)”).

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The Executive Assistant will have the opportunities to broaden career prospect within the organisation by sharpening skills through providing full range of secretarial, administrative, and business management support to CD(CS). The main responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Acting as the initial point of contact for CD(CS) and responding to internal and external stakeholders promptly and professionally. Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
  • Participating in business meetings and various initiatives, contributing to strategic discussions, and following up on action items.
  • Preparing, consolidating and reviewing various correspondence, reports, meeting minutes and presentation materials, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by supervisor, such as conducting ad-hoc research and analysis for specific issues.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, language studies, translation or other disciplines
  • Energetic, willing to learn and aspire to develop in the field of business management
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent English writing skills. Fluent in spoken English and Chinese
  • Experienced in serving senior executives or working in the government/ publicly funded organisation will be a plus

Note: Suitable candidates with less experience will also be considered.

The initial employment contract spans 12 months and can be renewed with a longer tenure upon mutual agreement of the incumbent and MRDI. The incumbent will normally work five days a week. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A gratuity of 15% of the salary will be awarded upon satisfactory completion of the contract.
